Hayat Kimya, Vietnam

Established in Turkey in 1937, Hayat Holding consists of 41 companies that operate in various industries including FMCG, port operations, construction, wood and energy. It employs nearly 17,000 employees around the globe. With a combined manufacturing capacity of 36 plants, the Company distributes to more than 100 countries worldwide especially the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa offering a great variety of goods notably tissue, hygiene, home care and personal health products.

In late 2020, the Company embarked on a major investment in Vietnam incorporating a subsidiary (Hayat Kimya Vietnam) and opening a world class manufacturing plant in the southern province of Binh Phuoc to produce FMCG products for domestic and overseas markets. Tremco CPG Vietnam together with the approved applicator produced several mockup samples and conducted rigorous testing at the site. The client was happy with the results and awarded the flooring job to our Vietnam team. Flowfresh MF system was selected for installation to meet the client’s high expectations on durability, cleanliness, safety and aesthetic.

Over 13,000 m2 of Flowfresh MF, a pigmented, antimicrobial, polyurethane floor finish, was applied across the production area. This hardwearing floor coating was then sealed with Flowseal HTS - a high solids, low odour, UV stable, abrasion resistant, satin polyurethane sealer- leaving a glossy finish. Flowfresh MF delivers a vibrant, attractive and finely textured floor finish with an excellent slip-resistant profile making it safe for workers. It is also highly chemical and temperature resistant. The flooring system is HACCP International certified as it contains Polygiene®, an antimicrobial addictive that inhibits bacteria growth on the floor surface, making it ideal for FMCG manufacturing environments.

The whole project took 2 months to complete in June 2021 to the client’s satisfaction.
