Fresh Flooring for CandyLand production area

Ismail Industries Limited, founded in 1988, is one of the largest food companies in Pakistan. It manufactures a wide range of confectionery, biscuits, snacks and packaging films under the brand names of CandyLand, Bisconni, SnakeCity and Astro Films.

When the current production area for CandyLand needed a fresh floor solution, the company appointed Flowcrete Pakistan and its approved applicator to do the job.

Flowcrete Pakistan proposed Flowfresh MF and 7000 m2 of this pigmented, chemical resistant, antimicrobial, polyurethane floor system was applied at a thickness of 4mm to create a durable protective barrier that prevents contaminants from permeating the concrete substrate. This solution ensures a hygienic, safe working surface that withstands heat from hot ovens, heavy machine loads and vigorous cleaning procedures typical in food processing environments. The correct type of floor coating used is critical to a food processing plant where cleanliness and purity are paramount.

The HACCP International certified systems are both temperature and chemical resistant, making them ideal for use in food production areas. The incorporation of the Polygiene® antibacterial additive helps to reduce bacteria on the ground by up to 99.9% when teamed with a regular cleaning regime.

The floor was finished in a vibrant yellow to brighten up the entire production area for CandyLand.
