Jackson Bakery and Confectionery is one of the earliest wholesale bakeries in Singapore. The bakery supplies its goods to local coffee shops and other F&B businesses, and also caters to customers who walk in to buy its variety of traditional handmade bread and homemade kaya.

As a result, the facility experiences a high volume of foot and trolley traffic on a daily basis. To meet the increasing demand, Jackson Bakery and Confectionery opened another outlet in Bedok Food City in 2021.

As a food production facility, Jackson Bakery and Confectionery required its flooring to meet the highest hygiene and safety standards. Flowcrete’s Flowfresh RT (9mm) - a heavy-duty, hygienic PU screed - was selected for the production area. This floor solution incorporates an antimicrobial additive that inhibits bacterial growth by up to 99.9%. Furthermore, its anti-slip properties and high chemical resistance made it an ideal choice for wet processing areas.

Flowfresh MF in Warm Buff colour was applied at 3mm to the corridor areas and coated with the Flowseal UV Satin - offering an attractive satin-smooth floor finish that is UV-resistant and hard-wearing. Flowcoat HTS was applied at the staircase areas and provides high abrasion resistance and is hygienic and easy to clean.
