Medochemie, a founding member of the European Generic Medicines Association (EGA), is a multinational pharmaceutical organisation that operates in accordance with the strictest quality standards and in full compliance with European guidelines. It has 13 manufacturing facilities and three of which are located in Vietnam.

For the construction of its newest facility in Vietnam, the client requested for a hardwearing and decorative PU concrete resin floor suitable for sustaining a clean room environment to enhance product quality standards. Flowcrete was chosen not only for its form and function, but also because of its good track record with international clients.

Flowcrete’s Flowfresh SRQ is a polyurethane resin floor screed system that incorporates the Polygiene® antimicrobial additive providing control of most bacteria and fungi which come into contact with the floor. About 4,000m² of the textured Mid-Grey speckled floor with quartz finish was applied to give the area a more refined and decorative look.

Approximately 3,000 linear metres of Flowtex PT and Flowcoat QS were also applied at the covings throughout the production areas. As there are no joints between the floor and covings, the seamless flooring system creates an aesthetically pleasing, uniform, and durable surface for long-term use.
