Designed with a contemporary country marketplace feel in mind, each store is laid out so as to maximise consumer convenience. The chain offers a complete supermarket experience providing a range of dry goods, everyday home essentials, wines, a butchery, bakery, deli, greengrocer, chocolatier, florist and coffee roaster.
Stores also incorporate live cooking demonstrations, sample stations, themed shopping nights, cooking classes and other events to keep food shopping fun, fresh and creative and create an unrivalled customer experience.
For the brand’s third location at the new Glo Damansara mall in Petaling Jaya, some 2,000m2 in total of Flowcrete Asia’s antimicrobial cementitious polyurethane screed range, Flowfresh, was specified by the interior design team for installation in the new store.
Flowfresh MF, a vibrantly coloured medium duty polyurethane screed with excellent chemical resistance was selected at 3mm for use on internal walkways. In addition, Flowfresh HF, a more robust system offering a higher grade of slip resistance at 6mm was chosen for use in wet areas that could pose a slip risk to both staff and visitors.
Containing a silver-ion based antimicrobial additive, Flowfresh floor systems act as a second line of defence between wash cycles, protecting the surface from degradation caused by bacteria, mould and other fungi to deliver a hygienic finish underfoot.
The entire project represented a challenging undertaking for Flowcrete Asia, with the company’s approved applicator partner working around the clock to deliver a fully operational facility within one month in time for the grand opening.
