Sauer Compressors Packaging Facility, Malaysia

Sauer Compressors is a global leader in the development, manufacture and sale of highquality compressor solutions for applications in commercial shipping, the navy and the offshore sector. As part of its strategy to strengthen their presence in Southeast Asia, the Group established a new packaging facility in Puchong, Malaysia. The team at Flowcrete was tasked with proposing a flooring solution capable of withstanding heavy industrial use.

For this project, two of our most durable systems were installed to meet the demands of precision manufacturing at the new site. Over 200 m² of Flowtex PT at 5mm thickness was installed as a heavy-duty epoxy screed base layer. This underlayment is highly resistant to impact and chemicals, delivering a dense, flat finish through power trowel application. To protect the base, a topcoat of Flowcoat HTS was applied. This UV-stable coating resists abrasion and chemical spills, maintaining a glossy, seamless finish that’s easy to clean and supports a safe, hygienic workspace.
