Srihadi Soedarsono Art Museum, Indonesia

The Srihadi Soedarsono Museum is a new cultural landmark in Bandung, honoring the legacy of Indonesian painting master Srihadi Soedarsono (1931–2022). Designed by acclaimed architect Andra Matin, the four-storey museum features a minimalist style with abundant natural light and now houses Srihadi’s iconic oil paintings, sketches, and watercolours.

To match the museum’s clean, modern aesthetic, our client requested a seamless, industrial-style floor. We installed over 280m² of the Urban Expressions EP system, a dual-tone epoxy floor known for its sleek finish and durability. Designed to withstand heavy foot and trolley traffic, the abrasion-resistant surface is ideal for high-traffic public spaces. Its seamless finish means no grout lines making it hygienic, easy to clean, and visually streamlined.

To maintain the floor’s appearance under strong natural lighting, we applied a Flowseal topcoat for UV stability. This protective layer prevents yellowing or fading, while its subtle matt finish reduces glare, keeping the focus on the art and not reflections.

Our high-performance flooring system not only complements the museum’s architectural vision but also enhances visitor experience creating serene, photo-ready spaces that highlight the artwork without distraction, doubled as perfect backdrops for Instagram-worthy photos.
