CMC Creative Space, Vietnam

Located in the south of Ho Chi Minh, just 7km outside the city centre, is the Asia headquarters of CMC Creative Space. The facility comprises of a data centre sandwiched between two office buildings, and occupying a total land area in excess of 13,000m².

As a new build, the client chose to apply Flowcrete products to its data centre lobby, car park, and staircases because of the brand’s trusted range of high-performance floor coatings.

Approximately 7,500m² of Flowcoat SF41 in Steel Grey was applied throughout the basement car park. Flowcoat SF41 is a solvent-free, chemical resistant, high-build epoxy coating system that is heavy duty and suitable for regular vehicular traffic. Flowseal UV, a clear, UV stable seal coat was then applied on top of the Flowcoat SF41 to prevent discolouring over time. Flowseal UV’s glossy finish also helped to brighten up the environment.

In the lobby, 600m² of Flowcrete’s Mondéco Earth in Almond colour was installed to give visitors an eye-catching yet elegant first impression. The highly decorative epoxy resin terrazzo floor finish incorporates granite and flint aggregates, and its seamless design allows for easy cleaning.

Lastly, 2,000m² of the Flowseal EPW was applied to the staircases in the building. This water-based epoxy floor sealer was chosen for its hygienic properties and seamless satin finish that provides for a non-dusting environment.
